The Alliance Française de Washington DC is pleased to welcome Élodie Mbape, author, teacher and language enthusiast, for a second exceptional literary meeting, online from Canada. Having studied in Cameroon, the United States and Canada, Mbape has a rich and international background.

It was at the AFDC that she took her first steps in teaching after obtaining her Bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia, a memory to which she remains deeply attached. Now a high school teacher and author of her second novel, L'envolée des monarchs, she continues to nurture her passion for literature, creative writing, music, travel and current affairs.
