Let's go, Francophonie! social media campaign
Kettly Mars was born in 1958 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she lives. She is a bold and evocative writer who offers new insights on contemporary realities of Haitian society. Kettly Mars is the author of many novels, among which are Je suis vivant (2015), Aux Frontières de la soif (2013), Saisons Sauvages (2010), and L’heure hybride (2005). She received the Jacques Stephen Alexis Prize (1996) and the Senghor Prize for Literature (2006), among others. Kettly Mars will join us on March 26 to talk about her writing career and what inspires her, and will also present her poems at the Poetry Night on March 19. Join us!
